What do I do if I am going on vacation or have visitors and I don't want to receive calls during that time?

No problem. All you need to do is go into the app or log in to your dashboard, click the on-vacation box and write the day you would like calls to halt and when you would like calls to resume.  

 

What if one of my VocaCircle emergency contacts goes on vacation and won't be able to check in on me while they are gone?

As long as you have set other VocaCircle members as additional emergency contacts, your primary contact will just need to log into their dashboard  check the going on vacation box noting the day the vacation begins and the day they will be returning, and a text will be sent to your secondary contact (for Plus Memberships) letting them know they will be the temporary contact until that day. During this period of time, your secondary contact will receive any SMS emergency text notifications. 

 

What if I need to change my call schedule or frequency or add or delete reminders?

You can make any changes to your customizations by logging into your dashboard at any time and making the changes. Just remember to press the save button so that the changes will go into effect.

 

What if I want to upgrade or downgrade my subscription level?

Easy. Just go to your settings page by clicking on the gear icon in the top right-hand part of your VocaCare Dashboard. Select upgrade, downgrade, or cancel to make changes to your account.

Can I get this as a gift for my parents, or do they have to sign up themselves?

Anyone can initiate the sign-up process. The member (your parent) will however need to approve you as an emergency contact and/or to have access to their health tracking and call-log data.

 

What is the purpose of the call-log data?

Sometimes people find that they are missing their calls due to something other than an emergency. The call-log data shows the times that calls were made and which of these calls were answered or went unanswered. Looking at this data can help you to better schedule your calls so that they do what they need to be doing- providing companionship, making sure you are OK, and monitoring the trends in your self-reported health data.

 

Is my health data safe?

Your conversations and health information deserve more protection than most devices provide. That’s why VocaCare was built from the ground up with privacy at its center—not as an add-on, but as a core promise.

Unlike voice assistants or wearable devices that share information across multiple apps, platforms, or corporate ecosystems, VocaCare keeps your data in one carefully secured place. Nothing is mined, analyzed for marketing, or shared with third-party services. There is no hidden “data ecosystem” behind the scenes.

Your information is encrypted end-to-end, and the only people who can access it are:

  1. You, and

  2. The VocaCircle members you personally choose and grant permission to.

No one else. Not VocaCare, not outside companies, not connected apps—because there are none. The lack of automatic integration with other platforms isn’t a limitation; it’s an intentional layer of protection.

This means your health details stay exactly where they should be: with you, and only those you explicitly trust. VocaCare is designed to support your independence—not compromise it.

What if one of my VocaCircle members changes their phone number?

If someone in your VocaCircle changes their contact number for text notifications all they need to do is change their number in the settings section of their dashboard. Settings can be found by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner of their dashboard.
